Each season's game has its own unique overall theme. This year's game is called REEFSCAPE, in which teams must utilize their engineering skills and collaborate with other teams to explore the unique world of our oceans in a thrilling series of action-packed qualifying competitions where teams navigate through various challenges alongside their alliance partners in hopes of gaining enough ranking points to advance to the regional competition and World Championships.
